Day 47 - 10 December 2010
At morning assembly, the Philippines Contingent and Japan Contingent held a publicity on a romantic Filipino movie screening and declared today a Valentine's Day.
In Japan, during Valentine's Day, the ladies would give chocolates to the men that they held a torch for.
After morning assembly, the On Board Ship Cruise (OBSC) Representatives led the Post-Programme Session II (Plenary Session).
The OBSC Reps shared about the Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Programme (SSEAYP) Alumni organisations.

As the SSEAYP International General Assembly (SIGA) would be hosted by SSEAYP Alumni Singapore (SIS) in 2011, our OBSC Rep Imhar also took the chance to publicise the event.
SIGA 2011: SSEAYP Wave Towards a Sustainable Environment would be held in Singapore from 29 April to 2 May 2011.

Each OBSC Rep also presented the Post-programme activities that their countries' 36th SSEAYP contingents had organised.

Seagulls roaming around in the clear sky
Philippine Contingent organised massage and Karaoke activities
Fuji Maru had a Karaoke microphone, which stored hundreds of songs in it. I had a try on it, and sang Enrique Iglesias' "Be With You".

Japan Contingent held a calligraphy session
I remember watching a Japan drama, 二千年の恋, about a decade ago when the Japan fever was hot in Singapore. Back then the all-girls band, SPEED, was one of the most popular Japanese singers around. Using this little knowledge about Jap culture, I would sing some SPEED songs or talk about Takeshi Kaneshiro in the drama to impress my Jap cabin mate.
After Club Activity, Solidarity Group A met at the Saloon to discuss our performance for SG Theater. Our plot was Cinderella's story with a humorous twist.
Thanks to the kind souls out there who distributed chocolates into our mailboxes. A simple gesture that brightened up the day.
After dinner, there was a screening of "I Miss You like Crazy". Brunei Contingent also screened movies, "Dunia Putanhu" & "Garaj Raya". Many contingents made full use of the Voluntary Activity segment to bring people together.
